We are delighted to see Neil Dusheiko Architects in the latest issue of enki with their Aberdeen Park House renovation project!
Located in Islington, this project seamlessly blends heritage with contemporary living through a modern brick extension inspired by surrounding Victorian warehouses. A triangular rooflight atop timber fins, illuminates the kitchen and living areas, creating a harmonious contrast between classic and modern elements.
The carefully designed sculpted helical staircase, open stairwell, and rooflight enable passive stack ventilation, allowing a refreshing breeze throughout the home. These features create an airy, calming atmosphere, enhanced by lime-washed plaster and timber finishes that connect residents with nature’s soothing textures.
