GRID secures planning consent for adaptive reuse proposals at Lakeside Drive

Exciting to see GRID Architects receive planning consent to repurpose the former Diageo office HQ in Park Royal, London into a hotel.

As featured in e-architect.com and Construction Enquirer, this milestone marks a significant step forward in delivering a high-quality hospitality and community-focused space, while prioritising sustainable development through the retention and adaptive reuse of the existing building.

As part of a joint venture made up of LSL Partners, Central & Provincial Properties, Candour Properties, Legendre Company, Select Investments and Eastborough Partners, the six-storey building will be transformed into a 433-room hotel, complemented by 2,700m² of carefully designed and accessible amenity spaces.

The Lakeside Drive design embodies GRID’s commitment to sustainable regeneration, combining contemporary hospitality with community engagement. With planning secured, it advances towards a dynamic hotel for Park Royal, enhancing local connections and public spaces.
