As seen in The Sunday Times, our client Mulroy Architects have been featured in a wonderful piece by Ruth Bloomfield on asymmetrical extensions.
Mulroy’s whole house transformation in Crouch End, London is a uniquely layered and light-filled home, with a twist.
The north facing garden looked at the gable end of another house, and the rear façade spent most of its time in shadow, so the practice conceived a diagonal extension that is 9.3m deep and 4m high, with rooflights that reach up and catch the sky.
