Our client Wellstudio Architecture has been featured in The Telegraph, The Evening Standard, Architecture Today, Plain Magazine, Journal du Design and in print within Build It and Architecture Magazine, with their newly completed Perry Vale House in south east London.
This reimagined Edwardian home has been designed in the spirit of the existing house. This was originally built in 1901 by renowned local builder, Ted Christmas, who was known for his craftsmanship and decorative joinery.
The project draws inspiration from the property’s traditional Arts & Crafts elements – in particular, the arches and curved bay window in the rear reception room. In a contemporary take on these, Wellstudio’s design features a masonry box punctuated with glazed openings, each a variation on this arched formh.
This beautiful project represents an important milestone for the practice. It showcases their dedication to creating thoughtful architecture that nurtures a deep sense of place and wellbeing.
