Canal House is a newly refurbished canal-side property in Camden by Emrys Architects, who have transformed a severely compromised building into a large and stylish home, adding value through a focus on careful design and the public realm.
Throughout the property, Emrys have made intelligent and efficient use of space within its relatively compact footprint. Sliding partitions allow the lower ground floor to be opened up as a study or play room, or enclosed to create a private bedroom with a concealed bed sliding from behind a wall. Bespoke joinery and exposed timber ceilings enhance the sense of space.
